Our profound apologies to all of you who are wondering what has happened to us. We are alive and well! However, internet access is intermittent at this point, so we have been prohibited from taking much time to add to the blog.
Suffice it to say, Karyn and the girls arrived on Guam safe and sound September 30. All are well, the girls are in home school, and we're slowly moving into the house. A week after everyone's arrival, Eric had to make a whirlwind trip to southern California to complete the last installment of his doctoral work. He will return home to Guam on October 21st. Please pray for safe travel, and please don't forget to pray for continued financial funding. Thanks for the assurance of all your continued prayers. More later!

Dear Karyn,
I'm here, reading with tears of joy and heartfelt compassion for you and your family. Thanks for keeping in touch. I'm praising God for your home, and for the way He provided the needed landscaping for you. I'm also feeling the separation for you between you and your loved ones. I know exactly what you mean when you describe it like a death. But it's almost harder, isn't it, when you experience it because you have made a decision to follow and obey God. The death, is truly dying to yourself and your desires so you can align yourself with God's desires and serve Him. The rewards for such a sacrifice will be great, even when you can't see with your eyes all that He is doing through you.
I am so glad God brought us together before you left. Even far away, you and your family touch my heart and I will be praying for you my sister!
Love in Him,
Vallie
I told you things did not move quickly in Guam
